WELCOME TO THE
OAKLAND AVENUE
MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH
We exist to bring glory to GOD and to become a Great Church through a Great Commitment to the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.
Our Pastor

Rev. Eddie J. Sain, II, was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He is the youngest of two siblings and was born to Eddie Sain, Sr., and Gwendolyn Sain.
He answered the call of God on his life to preach the gospel and on June 16, 2002, was licensed under the tutelage of his late grandfather, Pastor Solomon Sain, and was ordained in June 2006. He has dedicated his life to preaching, teaching, praising, and worshiping God. He was educated in the Detroit Public School system and is a proud graduate of Cass Technical High School. He attended Tennessee State University and furthered his religious education at the Tennessee School of Religion. From there he received his Bachelor (2004) and his Master of Theology (2005).

Our Church Covenant
Having Been led as we believe, by the Spirit of God, to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Saviour, and on the profession of our faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, we do now in the presence of God; angels, and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another, as one body in Christ.
